Louise & Dejan | Wedding Weekend‍ ‍

Some celebrations simply cannot be contained to one day.

For Louise and Dejan, their wedding unfolded over an unforgettable weekend, bringing together family, culture and beautifully considered details in a way that felt both deeply personal and effortlessly elegant.

The celebrations began in Melbourne with an intimate Chinese tea ceremony surrounded by family and close friends, followed by portraits throughout the city. The following day, loved ones gathered once again for a traditional ceremony at St Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church before celebrating into the evening at Provenance Wines in Geelong.

What struck me most throughout the entire weekend was the love that surrounded them. Every embrace lingered a little longer, every speech was heartfelt, and it was impossible not to feel the incredible closeness between their families.

Louise had an exceptional eye for detail, curating a wedding that felt timeless, refined and entirely their own. From her Jimmy Choo heels and delicate jewellery to the beautifully crafted stationery suite, custom welcome signage and thoughtfully considered styling moments, every detail was chosen with intention. Even the smallest details, like the way the crystal chandeliers reflected throughout the reception space, added to the feeling of understated luxury and romance. The stunning floral design by Rachelle from The Posie Place perfectly complemented the aesthetic, with sculptural white blooms creating a modern yet timeless feel.

From honouring family traditions to golden hour portraits amongst the rolling hills of Geelong and a sparkler-filled farewell, Louise and Dejan's wedding was a beautiful reminder that true luxury isn't about extravagance. It's about creating an experience that feels deeply personal, meaningful and unforgettable.

It was an absolute privilege to document the beginning of their next chapter together.
